Declaring The End From The Beginning
The Principle For Birthing Results In Season and Out of Season
Dear #DailyFollower,
Introduction
I hope you’ve had a restful weekend and looking forward to the last five days in January 2025.
I pray these last five days will bring you incredible blessings and usher you into your best February yet; in Jesus’ name, amen!
Today, I write about a principle I learned about 20 years ago. I started applying it, and 20 years later, when I look at aspects of my life, I’m not surprised by the outcomes I see.
Seeing these outcomes, I wonder why I didn’t dream bigger when I engaged this principle back then. Since I can’t change the past, I’m making corrections this time for the next 20 years, as the same principle still applies.
“What principle is this?” You may ask.
The Principle
It’s a principle I found in Isaiah 46:9-11, AMP, which says:
9 “Remember [carefully] the former things [which I did] from ages past;
For I am God, and there is no one else;
I am God, and there is no one like Me,
10 Declaring the end and the result from the beginning,
And from ancient times, the things which have not [yet] been done,
Saying, ‘My purpose will be established,
And I will do all that pleases Me and fulfils My purpose,’
11 Calling a bird of prey from the east,
From a far country, the man (Cyrus) of My purpose.
Truly, I have spoken; truly, I will bring it to pass.
I have planned it; be assured I will do it.
For context, these are God’s words to Israel through Prophet Isaiah after Israel’s waning confidence in the capacity of their God compared to the Idols of Babylon, their captors at that time.
When the Holy Spirit breathed on these words, He showed me how God wanted me to start declaring results I sort to see from the beginning (years before they would happen).
Since God made me in His image and likeness, and through Christ has called me to be a joint-heir of all He has, I have the capacity just like Him to declare the end and the result from the beginning and as long as my declarations align with His purpose, then I’m 100 per cent certain that my God will bring my declarations to pass.
This understanding immediately became a simple principle, which is:
State the things you desire to see in your life 10/20 years ahead,
Take these statements to God to refine time to align with His will and purpose,
Receive the refined statements from God, and
Declare them consistently believing them as true.
I’ve lived by this principle for twenty years, and it’s always delivered. As I said in my introduction, the only thing I discovered in reviewing my journey over the years is that I’ve been very conservative in applying it.
As I write to you, I’ve repented of my conservatism, and my dreams and declarations for the next 20 years aren’t conservative.
Your Best Days Are Ahead
This phrase is much more than a wish.
It is a constant reality for everyone who applies this principle. I still have yet to find people who used this principle and had a better yesterday.
Their paths, just like mine, only shone brighter and brighter, and for all who continue to live and stay in God, the shining continues until Christ comes in glory or God calls us home.
What end do you desire for 2025, 2035, 2045, 2055, and so on?
Begin to declare it from now, but ensure that your declarations align with what end God intends for you in these coming seasons; once you’re sure of that, declare away until your declarations become as real to you as things you can touch or feel right now.
Let me give a practical example to help someone engage this principle.
In 2005, while at the university, after a couple of months of being friends with my wife, I asked that we commit to a relationship, and in the same breath, I said it was a life commitment.
I had prayed, and I was absolutely convinced that she was my wife; it took her 18 months to come back to me, but she eventually did with a yes to a committed relationship and, in 2012, a yes to a marriage proposal.
In the years between 2006 and 2013, when we got married, I had people ask questions about my certainty about our future. I remember answering from a place of knowing that our marital future was settled, not going to be settled in the future, but settled in 2005.
We’re in 2025, 20 years on, married and growing strong together, applying this principle together, and seeing results together.
Your best days are ahead when you engage and apply this principle of declaring the end from the beginning.
Key Takeaways
Your future is only as bright as the pictures you paint with your words.
Your faith declarations about your future must align with God’s purpose.
You must believe the future you declare has already happened.
Conclusion
What do you see in your 10/20 years from now?
As a daily follower, you can make what you see happen; it is part of your redemptive rights. The power is in your tongue; speak it as you see it, and watch what you say manifest.
The only condition for manifestation is that what you see and say aligns with God’s purpose for you.
I’m super excited about the coming years because there will be an avalanche of manifestations for the many who will begin to declare as they see.
I pray God enables you to discover the power He’s put within you as a joint heir with Christ. So you open your eyes to see and your mouth to declare.
Yours faithfully,
John, a #DailyFollower.
