Dear #DailyFollower,
Introduction
Wisdom is not silent. She doesn’t hide in the shadows or whisper from behind closed doors. Instead, she stands at the crossroads, at the gates, on every path where people make choices—and she calls out. Her voice is clear, direct, and available to all.
Proverbs 8 shows us that wisdom is both a gift and a guide. She speaks for God. Her words carry life, protection, honour, and purpose. Ignoring her is dangerous. Responding to her is the way to live genuinely.
Let’s take a moment to listen closely.
Key Text
📖 Proverbs 8:1–6, 10–11, 17, 34–36 (EXB selections)
1 Wisdom calls out; understanding raises her voice.
3 She stands at the city gates, at the entrance of the town, and at the roadways leading in.
4 “I am calling out to all of you; I am raising my voice to all people.
6 Listen, for what I say is worth hearing; I speak what is right.
10 Choose my teaching instead of silver, and knowledge rather than the finest gold.
11 Wisdom is more precious than rubies; nothing you could want is equal to it.
17 I love those who love me, and those who seek me will find me.
34 Blessed are those who listen to me, watching daily at my doors, waiting at my doorway.
36 But those who miss me injure themselves. Those who hate me love death.”
Some Thoughts
Wisdom is crying out, not hiding.
The voice of wisdom is active in your day-to-day life. God wants you to hear it—whether through Scripture, godly counsel, or the inner conviction of the Spirit.True wealth begins with wisdom.
Nothing the world offers—gold, prestige, or even comfort—can compare with the life-giving power of wisdom. She brings clarity, purpose, and eternal value.Ignoring wisdom is dangerous.
Proverbs is clear: to miss wisdom is to harm yourself. But those who watch daily at her doors position themselves to receive grace, instruction, and blessing.
A Few Questions To Ponder
To help you reflect:
Where am I hearing the voice of wisdom in my life right now?
Have I been making space daily to wait at her doorway?
What area of my life needs a wise adjustment today?
We learn to live well in God’s world by listening to wisdom.
Conclusion
God’s wisdom is not a luxury—it’s a necessity. And it’s not elusive. Wisdom is calling out. She’s inviting us to walk with her—to make decisions that reflect God’s heart, not the world’s noise. There’s no better voice to follow.
Today’s challenge: Tune in.
Take 15 minutes today to sit in stillness with Proverbs 8, and ask: “Lord, what is Wisdom saying to me?”
